MEET THE TEAM

Laura Ronn - Family Mediator

Laura Ronn - FMCA Mediator - Director

I founded Family Mediation North East (now Pax Mediation) with 3 colleagues in 2012. I hold the highest level of family mediation accreditation (FMCA) and have been working as an accredited family mediation since 2007, also qualifying as Professional Practice Consultant (PPC) so I can supervise other mediators. In the past, I trained and qualified as a solicitor but these days I work full time in family mediation and do not practice law.

I am a trainer and supported the national delivery of the Separated Parents Information Programme. I am a Resolution trained Family Consultant in the Collaborative Law process and I am both registered with the Family Mediation Council (FMC) and a member of the Family Mediators Association (FMA).

I was delighted to join the team in 2021 to help provide administrative support to our mediators. I have many years of experience in business administration including the NHS, along with my charity work for The Stroke Association. I am particularly experienced in dealing with those going through conflict and difficult times and am passionate about improving lives by encouraging positive communication.
